The rest of the book was about the preparation and groundwork to meet the enemy. Will he succeed in his quest? Read to find out!!įor me, the first 150 pages were the best. He builds up a network to track down the killer. He makes some of the best and loyal friends on the way. The hero sets about on a mission to destroy the killer in a most systematic and sophisticated way. The victims are not just killed but butchered in such a grotesque way that I may have to warn the faint-hearted to stay away from some of the descriptions. The book starts with the background and the setting of the birth of a most sadistic and vicious killer. This time more so power to the villain than the hero. The hero and villain were equally powerful. There were moments of sadness, tenderness, and intense rage. It was an edge of the seat, page-turning, and whatnot moment of goodness. Wow! I had such a thrill ride with this book. This is a review of the book ' Tidal rage' by David Evans. This in no way affects my review, all opinions are my own, are not a result of compensation and may be affected by the fact that I currently have nothing better to do than read multiple books a day as you would be AMAZED at how much reading you can get done when you are up 90% of the night due to anxiety!
